Our studies are taking us through the United States right now. I thought that I would share some of the books that we are using for this section. The first one is called The Natural Wonders of America. This book talks all about the different natural beauty that there is in our great country. Then another really good one is O Say Can You See. It discusses all of the landmarks, symbols, and inspiring words that helped make our country into what it is. If you are into the statistic side you should check out "Encyclopedia Britanica Discover America Fact Book." We also have tried to learn about the monuments and a good book for that is America's top 10 National Monuments. A really good book Do Not Know much about the 50 States. It is filled with facts about all of the states. Then there is the Kids Guide to the Smithsonian. That was one of Sammy's Favorites.

Great books!
We just picked up a little
"states" workbook for P in Target- in the dollar section.

I just bookmarked O Say Can You See and America's Top 10 National Monuments to order from the library. As Kate said there is same $1 state material at Target. I bought the most darling board book with lift and flaps of the states. Under the image of the state is the capital, etc. It is a bit old for my dd3 but I will use it sometime in the future.

I love reading book reviews. :)
