Book list #21----

Ok It is time for me to put in the new book list. I thought there was some really cool ones on here. I have slowed the kids down a little bit on reading them because they had them all read in 2 days. So I started this week putting ones that can work with upcoming lessons in my room on the shelf. This way they do not read them before the lesson and I can enjoy it with them. No more "Oh I already read this".

.) Monstersong by Mathilde Stein
.) A Picture Book of Benjamin Franklin by David A. Adler
.) Carmine -- A Little More Red by Melissa Sweet
.) Little Bitty Mousie by Jim Aylesworth
.) Too Many Frogs by Sandy Asher
.) The Yellow Balloon by Charlotte Dematons
.) Z goes Home by Jon Agee
.) How Ben Franklin Stole the Lightning by Rosalyn Schanzer
.) Do You Have A Hat by Eileen Spinelli
.) When Gorilla Goes Walking by Nikki Grimes
.) Flip and Flop by Dawn Apperley
.) Spaghetti Eddie by Ryan San Angelo
.) The Troll Bridge Troll by Patricia Rae Wolff
.) This Train by Paul Collicutt
.) Home Run by Robert Burleigh
.) Art Auction Mystery by Anna Nilsen
.) Action Jackson by Jan Greeenberg
.) The Football That Won.... by Michael Sampson
.) Popcorn at the Palace by Emily Arnold McCully

Ok so that is the list for this week, I will try to update the Shelfari bookshelf in the next couple of days. One big favorite on the list this week is the " How Ben Franklin Stole the Lightning". It was a really humorus book about his life. Sam of course is enjoying all of the Ben Fraklin books on the list. Gabe really enjoyed "Flip and Flop". It was a book about two brother penguins. He thought that was really fun. The "Art Auction Mystery" is one that I am looking foward to going through with Sam. I have it set aside for the upcoming puzzle day. He has to figure out who put all of the forgieries in. Looks very cool. Another one that I found interesting was "The Yellow Balloon". It is actually a picture book no story. The pictures are great though and Gabe is a type of kid that loves to make his own story up so it is perfect for him.
