So here are a couple shots of yesterday for us. First is the art project that I did with the boys. We made butterflies. All you need to make these are clear contact paper, tissue paper, pipe cleaners. After you lay the tissue paper on the contact paper seal it off with another layr of the contact paper. Cut out the shape of butterfly wings. Add on the pipe cleaners for antenneas by twisting it around the middle. Then you have a completed butterfly.
Next is the start of the state wall. I showed a little while back that Sam got a giant crayola coloring book about the states and this is what we are doing with the pages. This is on his bedroom wall and he is so happy about it. It is funny because he now getting his little brother into learning about the states. Gabe will ask questions about the different items in the picture and of course Sam is more than happy to answer. A bonus learning lesson. All right enough for now. I have got to get to work on some things.

Pretty butterflies.Great gift to grandparents. It's all sealed so no worries about tissue paper falling off.

Isn't it great when they teach each other?

I swear that that is why my 3yo is so on top of things - she follows everything big brother does, and he helps her along.

Ooh, your butterflies remind me of the elephant in the book "Elmer".
