Unplug your kids......ROCKS
This weeks unplug your kids project was rocks. I thought about what we could do, then I found this. It seemed like a really neat idea. Take hot rocks and color them. I wanted to do something with the rocks after they were all done so the boys made a Birthday gift for their Papa. See the last picture to see what they made. Very cute.
Concentrating hard on coloring!
The fingers are cooling down some now!
Pretty Rocks!
The end product, a beautiful picture frame for their Papa. Make sure to check out the other unlpug your kids project over here. Join us again for next weeks theme....Books.

Oh! Thank you for reminding me of this one! I remember reading about it but we've never tried it. It looks so cool!
The frame turned out great! Handmade gifts are always more meaningful. Thanks for sharing!
I have never ever heard of this. It sounds really fun! I will have to try this one day with my kids. Perhaps we need to have a "crayons" Unplugged Project and we could try it then! Thanks so much for teaching me something new! That picture frame is beautiful, I'll bet their Papa loved it.
Hey great idea - we tried drawing with cfayons on hot eggs but they are the wrong shape for little kids - flat rocks would be much better - awesome!
I saw this idea online too and wanted to try it, although I was afraid my daughter was too young. I might have to just do it by myself! LOL The picture frame is cute. :)
They are so very sweet!
Great project..I bet Papa loved it too.
What a fun idea! I think I read about that somewhere too but I was afraid to try it with CJ. The frame is adorable- I'll bet Dad loves it!
Love this. I have wanted to do the unplug kid thing so many times and never got around to it.
