Unplug your kids #7---
This weeks project at Unplug Your Kids was NATURE. The kids could do some project about nature and what it means to them. My oldest loves the diversity of nature. Since we are studying the rain forest he decided to do a project on that. This is a picture of his Rain Forest in a Jar that he made. the other side of the jar has labels marking off what each level of the Rain forest is called.

When I asked my youngest what nature means to him. His reply was Dinosaurs. He is a very funny kid. So he got out some of his favorite Dinosaur toys to represnt that. If you notice that all of the Dinosaurs are plant eaters.
I hope that you enjoyed our projects. Please check out the others on Unplug Your Kids.

I love the Unplug projects, I keep missing them though! We're going to do the Nature one today though, thanks for reminding me of them! :-)

Oh, and I love the mobile with the monkeys the boys did! Very cool!

How smart that he picked all plant eaters, I love it!

What is in the rainforest in a jar? Is that a real plant of some kind? What a good idea to write the names of the forest layers on the jar.

Thanks again for joining in!

Is that rain forest in a jar like those terrariums we used to make in school? I loved doing those. He has neat, "good", dinos.

Wonderful. The rainforest in a jar idea is excellent. I'm getting some great ideas from other people since joining in the Unplugged Projects!

I love the things your boys come up with for the unplug projects. I know you must be very busy but if you have time this week could you explain to me how to do the unplug projects? Do I just do it,take pictures, and post it on my blog? Do I have to do the project on Monday? Is is Ok for me to post my name on a box on the unplug blog? I know she has no idea who I am. Won't she find it odd a stranger just post a name on her blog? Should I wait until I have time to do some reading on her blog about her and her family? It might be years before I get time to read, comment, and get to know her. lol Please don't rush to get me answers. If you have time to answer my questions that would be great but I am sure I will be able to figure it out on my own in the next few weeks. I haven't joined in any of the projects yet so my children don't know what they are missing. lol
