Book List 15---
I am a couple days late posting this, sorry. Where does the time go. Oh well. The books are coming along great, the boys are having so much fun. As you can see from the photo, books are important to them. Gabe decided after the library the other day that he needed someplace soft and cozy to sit, so he sat in our box of stuffing. LOL. Sam is also having a great time. He is noticing things around him and costantly saying "that was like in the book we read" or "that is the author of the book I read". (He is also reading classics on his own right now. Mark Twain is his favorite) So overall it is wonderful to see that they are learning so much from all of the books that we have been reading. I also have a link to share with you guys that a lady was kind enough to share with me after the last list that I posted. Please check it out, there is some really cool ideas on the site. here. Ok enough with the rambling and off to the list. It is just a good feeling to see that this challenge is paying off, that the boys are loving and learning from it. So here is the list:

.) If You Give A Moose A Muffin by Laura Numeroff
.) The Princess and the Pea by Janet Stevens
.) The Clever Boy and the Terrible, Dangerous Animal by Idries Shah
.) The Good-bye, House by Robin Ballard
.) The Magic School Bus -- Out of this world by Jackie Posner
.) The Snow Globe Family by Jane O'Connor
.) Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson
.) The Magic Crystal by Brigitte Weninger
.) C is for Caboose by Traci Todd
.) My Daddy is a Giant by Carl Norac
.) Pascual and the Kitchen Angels by Tomie DePaola
.) Cook-A-Doodle-Doo! by Janet Stevens
.) Moishe's Miracle by Laura Krauss Melmed
.) Jake Greenthumb by Loki
.) The Forest by Claire Nivola
.) When I am Eight by Joan Lowery Nixon
.) Yankee Doodle Riddles - American History Fun by Joan Holub
.) If The Walls Could Talk -- Family Life at the White House by Jane O'Connor
.) AlphaBetter by Dan Bar-el and Graham Ross

So this is our list. We are making it to our goal slowly but getting to it. Some of our Favorites on the List so far are "The Snow Globe Family". It is about a little family that lives inside a snowglobe that want to have a blizzard really badly. It is really well done. Also Sam really loves "If These Walls Could Talk". He is always up for learning more about the presidents. I also found that "The Magic Crystal" was really sweet. It was a book about finding the inner beauty in yourself. I hope that everyone is enjoying our list. Have a great day.
