My guys at the beach. We had such a good time. Gabe was getting thrown around by the waves but he loved it. Sammy was a little more cautious but still had a great time
Terrarium

I have to admit alot of the ideas I get for my kids and their schooling projects I get from other moms in the online groups that I am apart of. The making of the Terrarium is one of the ideas. So thank you to the moms that gave the idea for it. The boys had a great time making the desert terrarium. As you can see in the bottom picture we took the boys to the beach to get the sand for it.

Mardi Gras!!
I am a little late posting these pictures. Well some off the ladies on my preschool group talked about making floats with the kids. The idea was to let them decorate the laundry basket with beads and feathers. They had so much fun doing it this was the pictures of the end result.

Little Devil or Little Angel--
You Decide!

We did a lesson on heart health and Sammy Loved it. I found this really cool science kit to give him an idea of how the blood is pumped in the heart. The kit is from disgusting science. The kids loved the heart so much they were asking to do it again everyday for a week.

The above picture is Sammy trying to make sure that there is enough "blood" in his heart. The bottom is a demonstration of the heart working!

GUM DROP FUN
Tonight we decided to have fun and build structures out of Gum Drops and Tooth Picks. Our oldest son had so much fun. I have included a few pictures to show how things came out.

The picture below is Sammy's creation. He was so happy with how this turned out.

This is the mom tower. I had no clue as to what I was doing. I just kind of stuck things where ever they would stick. I think that it came out pretty cool though.
Well daddy made his and wanted to see how much weight his held. We think it held about 20 pounds of books.

This is the end result of that experiment! LOL!!

Hair Cuts
Our son has a hard time letting people cutting his hair. It gets so bad in public that we have to do it at home (The last time I took him to get it done, he caused the stylist to cut herself). Well the only way we have been able to get his hair cut with out the crying fits is to allow his older brother to start the hair cut then we take over. As you can see in the picture he is not that excited about that either.
The Map
It took a few weeks to get this accomplished but he did it. Sammy was so excited when he first got this to do that he went at it like crazy but the fun wore off quick. Then the map set to the side for about a week. I brought it back out and he finished it. He got so excited about finishing that I added a picture of him at the bottom showing how he felt.

Valentine's Day
The boys wanted to make a valentine's card for their dad. They had a lot of fun. They glued foam hearts on to cut out construction hearts and added red glitter for extra fun.

Here is the finished product. They were so proud of the finished product and Gabe even thought that it tasted good! LOL!!!

Our School Day
We try to have fun in our school day. Well Gabe always manages to have fun. We were working on the letter "B" and he had a ball. I gave him an outline of the letter and was having him glue beans on it. If you see in the last picture he decided to glue himself to the paper, after all he is a boy.

So much fun every day!!

I recently posted a picture of my son's birthday cake. Well I mentioned that I was going to be making polar bear cupcakes for all of his friends. I think they came out a lot better than the cake did. I got the directions to make them off the Family fun Website. Here is a picture of them.

Monkey Jungle continued....
Well the boys decided to have a rest together before going off to check out any other animals that might be there.

A parrot was trying to talk to the boys which was what was making Gabe laugh so hard. They found some really cool looking lizards next.

Gabe did not know what to make of this Guy!! However he did like what came up next, The fish. He wanted to get in the water with them and Tickle them. I have no clue why he wanted to tickle them. He did also try to climb in the orangatan pit. We managed to stop him from doing both. I added a picture of some of the fish at the bottom.

Monkey Jungle
We Decided to go to Monkey Jungle for our sons fourth Birthday. He was so excited about monkey jungle he could not wait to get there, he thought that maybe he should drive.

(Very Scary Thought!!!!)

This was a very smart monkey he was lowering a dish down to his new best friend for some food. Which as you can see Gabe eagerly gave them.

These were a few of the really cool monkeys that we saw there. As you can see in the top one they also had feeding tubes that we could give them food through.

I have more pictures to post but It seems that I have reached my limit for today. I will try to post more pictures tomorrow.

The Car Crash!!!!
I wanted to share this with anyone who needed a good laugh. My son is turning Four and I always make him a home made cake. Well This year he loves Lightning McQueen and in efforts to save a couple extra dollars I decided to design him myself. Well I can normally do pretty good if someone has given me directions but this cake was all from my head ( I have to say it looked better in there) LOL. So I call my master piece the car crash! I am going to make polar bear cupcakes for all his friends. I have directions for them so hopefully they come out better.

Superman
We have a busy weekend this weekend. It is our youngest son's 4th birthday on monday the 12th. Well we gave him his presents this morning. As you see he could not wait to become superman.

Recycled Art
We started keeping a bin with recycled products. My oldest son has really gotten into using this to make his own creations. I love that he is doing this so much because I can see another whole side to him, his creative side.

This is his telescope, trumpet, flute. His very own creation and he is so proud of it.
Well to go along with the recyled bin we bought a book that has design to create your own games out of recycled products. So the picture above and two below show his very own pinball machine that he made. It really works to.

Sick days
We have been sick around here lately. It has been a really bad cold going around. So we decided to take a few days off. We had been so busy with the Tae Kwon Do, that the boys have had no down time to rest. Good news on that front though, Gabe earned his first strip this weekend. That is all for now.
